After studying art and design in college, Stephen realized that his passion lies in the art of hair. Following upon his dream of becoming of a successful hair stylist, Stephen moved to New York City to attend the Aveda Institute. Shortly thereafter, he found his way to Eva Scrivo Salons, where, under Eva's tutelage, Stephen honed his skills to become a skilled hair cutter and a company leader. He has also had the opportunity to train with industry powerhouses such as Bumble and Bumble, L'Oreal Professionnel, and Shu Uemura. With a busy schedule of clients who range from actors, super models, and musicians, to everyday NYC women, Stephen splits his time between our Fifth Avenue and Madison Avenue locations. Also serving as our Educational Coordinator, he works closely with Eva to oversee and enhance in-salon education, helping to create our company's future stars.
Hailing from what he calls the "great state of Louisiana," Stephen brings a "Southern ease" to his work. His natural eye and talent, paired with impeccable mentorship and training, have enabled Stephen to create the simple yet modern haircuts that his clients love and for which they keep coming back.
