General Manager, Partner

Arik is the General Manager and CEO of Eva Scrivo Salons. He took an active role in the company in 2003, while helping his now wife, Eva Scrivo, expand from her private, three-chair, hair studio, to a much larger space in the then up and coming Meatpacking District. Since, he has played an integral role in the expansion of the company and brand, including co-writing "Eva Scrivo on Beauty" (Atria Books, 2011). Arik is usually present at one salon location or another, overseeing their day-to-day activities and interacting with clients. Moreover, he personally manages the salons' event and bridal business, and takes an active role in client relations.

Arik holds an MBA from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business and has over 20 years of business experience in both large and small companies. Prior to moving to New York, where he met Eva and discovered his passion for the beauty industry, Arik worked as Brand Manager at Ford Motor Company in Detroit, MI, as well as Director of Marketing for a San Francisco technology start-up. Born in the former Soviet Union, Arik moved to the United States with his family at age 12, and is bilingual in English and Russian.
