With side-swept bangs being a popular trend this fall, here’s a tip on how to keep them looking great – even beyond the day of the blowout!

If your bangs seem to get oily or feel dirtier than the rest of your hair, you can wash them separately (this method is particularly helpful for those with oily or thick hair that is exhausting to blow-dry daily in its entirety). This way, you’ll only have to restyle that one section. Separate the bangs and pull the rest of the hair into a ponytail; wet the bang section with a spray bottle and massage in a drop of shampoo with a moist towel. Rinse out well, then style as usual.
