When at the beach, one often underestimates the intensity of the sun as the ocean breeze can be a bit deceiving. Not only do UVA/UVB rays accelerate the aging process, they can also fade hair color and dehydrate the hair. Products that have UVA/UVB protection create a barrier against sun’s damaging rays from, while silicone-based products (those with ingredients ending in ‘cone’) work well to protect against chlorine and salt water.
