With the warmer weather finally coming around, it may be time to change your lipstick palette to lighter and brighter colors. However, a classic nude lip rarely goes out of style.

Sometimes a pale, flesh-toned lipstick can look pasty and flat, so a great tip is to top a nude lip color with a sheer pink gloss. The transparency of the gloss enlivens the beige shade without altering it too much.

Keep in mind that if you wear a nude lip, you will have to compensate with color elsewhere in order not to look washed out – perhaps with stronger eye makeup or a little more blush or bronzer.

Armour lip gloss: I love these highly pigmented, thicker glosses, which do not easily feather and stay put better than most.
