This workshop will focus on achieving bright, clear blondes without the use of foils through our signature balayage placement, application, and processing techniques. You will also learn about 'blonding theory' - the science of lightening hair in stages while controlling warmth and protecting the integrity of the hair. Take home the tools and techniques to transition your foil clients to balayage blondes and be inspired by this classic art form which has been refined by Eva and her team of top colorists, helping you to build client loyalty, increase referrals, and make your work stand out in your salon and region.

Material covered in this class will range from balayage basics (including proper tools) and color theory, to advanced techniques and the nuances of placement and processing, regardless of the desired outcome. It will put you on the path to becoming a balayage expert, whether you’re a beginner or have been practicing it for years and are looking to perfect your craft and take your work and your income to the next level.

The morning will begin with a presentation on balayage and blonding theory, followed by Eva’s demonstration on a live model, as she takes you through the finer points of this specialized highlighting technique. After a catered lunch, you will have the opportunity to practice on mannequin heads while being supervised by Eva and her team of educators, to ensure that you receive plenty of personalized attention. Please note that videotaping of this class is not permitted.
